Sneak Preview Shanghai Art Fair 2011
On Tuesday, September 13th, 2011 thousands of people gathered at ShanghaiMART for more than three hours to get a sneak preview of large display of oil paintings, Chinese paintings, porcelain, sculptures and installations at Shanghai Art Fair 2011.
This year marks the 15th Edition of Shanghai Art Fair with a wider scope and larger scale works. With more than 1,100 galleries presenting domestic and international contemporary works, gallery owners, artists, people from the local and international press and officials from the Chinese government had the opportunity to see what is going to be showcased during Shanghai Art Fair 2011.
This year also marks the inauguration of the American Pavilion curated by Aldo Castillo, the Associate Director for the American Pavilion and Inez Suen, Contributing Curator with participation of 14 galleries from Florida, New York, Chicago, and galleries from Colombia, Spain and Korea as well.
